It's funny how sometimes you think you know something, until you try to explain it to a child. Here's a great place to bone up on some of those "Earth Friendly" terms you hear about on the news all the time: The BBC Guide to Climate Change. The site includes an animated guide to the greenhouse effect, and illustrations showing carbon cycle and ice albedo effects. You and your kids can learn about how The Carbon Cycle has changed at the cite. This is a French science site, but it's translated for you and it has plenty of good stuff.
