I hope you're enjoying your summer. We're enjoying the stomach flu. It's probably just a souvenir from our trip. While we are are recovering, you might actually have some time on your hands to be productive. I've found SpellingCity.com and have been entering in a spelling list or two for the coming school year each weekday morning. For each list you enter, the site will pronounce and use it in a sentence for your student, then provide word search, hangman, fill in the blanks, and matching games. You can even print the list out as a handwriting sheet. It will even provide a pretest for your child, and lets you monitor how he's done. It's free, and well done.
